St Peter's Sawrey

This is St Peter's church in the village of Sawrey, close to Lake Windermere. Taken early in the morning towards the end of May as the sun was rising behind the church. St Peter's church was built in the 1800s in early English Gothic style and sits on a low hill. Slate rubble and sandstone are the main building materials of the church and can be seen clearly in this image.
