Easter Snow captured

29th March 2008
I awoke early on Easter Sunday and set out towards Ambleside to capture some early morning images. As I approached Coniston there were patches of snow appearing and they quickly became quite thick. I managed to get through it and make my way to Blea Tarn where I got a few shots of the tarn and the Langdale Pikes, all covered in snow. Four of these pictures have now been added to the 'Tarns' gallery and a winter walk along the snow covered path to Elterwater has been added to the 'Lakeland Scenes' gallery.

We don't get much snow in the lakes now and when we do it doesn't last long so take a look in the gallery and see how it looked.
