Circuit of Ingleborough Time Trial

I spent a great hour on Saturday photographing the Circuit of Ingleborough time trial and trying out some new techniques to capture something 'different'. I think the results are pretty good but would be keen to know what anyone else thinks so please leave a comment good or bad. There's a couple of shots below that demonstrate what I was trying to achieve, highlighting the rider against the dark sky on the brow of a hill. Please let me know if it works.
